Everyone likes color in their lives and some even like to wear it on their faces. Color sings fashion and can even give the wearer a burst of energy. Mido 2012 saw not just bright hues but new uses of color, especially on the frame front. Striations, asymmetry, and florals are just some of the color trends that were highlights of the show.
THE NUMBERS SAY IT ALL With visitor attendance at about 42,000 and over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries participating, Mido 2012 went “well beyond our highest expectations,” according to Cirillo Marcolin, Mido president. Next year, Mido will take place Saturday through Monday, March 2-4.
