HOW IT WORKS Each Leader® 8-base frame comes with a removable Rx adapter that snaps into place. The concept is simple: For those patients who need a standard Rx base curve for their Rx, they can have it by using the standard Rx adapter. This gives the patient the look of an 8-base wrap frame while using standard Rx lenses. The wearer can also enjoy 8-base plano sunwear by simply removing the standard adapter and inserting pre-edged 8-base polarized sun lenses into the frame, an ideal solution for patients who wear both glasses and contact lenses.
Each adapter comes with a choice of plano sun lenses in gray or brown. Spare standard Rx adapters are available so lenses can be switched depending on the activity, climate, weather, or wearer’s mood.
